Kursgebühr pro Person € 500,- / Fee per person € 500,-

Unterkunft (ab ca. 50 EUR pro Person/Tag) und Verpflegung muss selbst getragen werden. Das Organisationsbüro hilft nach bestätigter Teilnahme mit Empfehlungen zur Unterkunft. / Accomodation around € 50 / night and board have to be payed by the participants. Recommendations will be given by our office after successful application.

2. PASSIVE TEILNEHMER / PASSIVE PARTICIPANTS:

Kursgebühr 100 EUR plus Unterkunft ca. 50 EUR pro Person/Tag und Verpflegung. /

WORKSHOP zur INTERPRETATION ZEITGENÖSSISCHER VOKALMUSIK | HALBERSTADT 2024

Kursinhalte sind: die Arbeit an Werken für Stimme aus dem 20. und 21. Jahrhundert : Solo (auch mit Elektronik), Duo oder Klavierlied, Kammermusik, Vokalensemble, Vokal-Performances, Vokal-Improvisation, Szenische Darstellung, Körpertraining- und Impro, ein Symposion zu Stimme und Darstellung sowie ein Abschlusskonzert. Auf Wunsch wird eine Repertoireliste als Vorschlag zugeschickt. Der Kurs ist an Studierende und Profis zur Weiterbildung ohne Altersbegrenzung adressiert. Willkommen sind auch Teilnehmer, die sich auf das Studium, auf Auditions oder Wettbewerbe vorbereiten möchten. Der Kurs beinhaltet für jede*n Teilnehmer*in täglichen Unterricht bei Sarah Maria Sun (Vokal Repertoire, „neue“ und „alte“ Gesangs-Technik, Interpretation) sowie Workshops mit Christoph Ogiermann (Komponist, Improvisator, Multi-Instrumentalist), Clara Hyerim Byun (Lied Coaching), Paul Blackman (Physical Training, Körper Bewusstsein, Bewegung auf der Bühne) und Gunnar Brandt-Sigurdsson (Basis Kurs für elektronische Instrumente).

MASTERCLASSES ON THE INTERPRETATION OF CONTEMPORARY VOCAL MUSIC IN HALBERSTADT 2024

Course content includes: working on works for voice from the 20th and 21st centuries: solo (also with electronics), duo or piano song, chamber music, vocal ensemble, vocal performances, vocal improvisation, scenic performance, physical training and improvisation, a symposium on voice and performance as well as a final concert. On request, a repertoire list will be sent as a suggestion. The course is aimed at students and professionals with no age limit. Participants who wish to prepare for their studies, auditions or competitions are also welcome. The course includes daily lessons for each participant with Sarah Maria Sun (vocal repertoire, "new" and "old" vocal techniques, interpretation) as well as workshops with Christoph Ogiermann (composer, improviser, multi-instrumentalist), Clara Hyerim Byun (song coaching), Paul Blackman (physical training, body awareness, movement on stage) and Gunnar Brandt-Sigurdsson (basic course for electronic instruments)..

NEUE MUSIK HALBERSTADT (SACHSEN-ANHALT) DAS JOHN-CAGE-ORGEL-KUNST-PROJEKT HALBERSTADT

Seit 2001 wird ein sehr langsames Musikstück (Dauer: 639 Jahre) in Halberstadt aufgeführt. Es ist eine Interpretation von ORGAN2/ASLSP – As SLow aS Possible [So langsam wie möglich] – des experimentellen amerikanischen Komponisten John Cage.

Rund um die Uhr, 365 Tage im Jahr klingt es in der kraftvollen Atmosphäre der teilweise zerstörten mittelalterlichen Burchardi Kirche. Sie wurde zu einem großen An- ziehungspunkt im Sinne der Offenheit John Cages.

NEW MUSIC HALBERSTADT (SAXONY-ANHALT) THE JOHN CAGE ORGAN PROJECT IN HALBERSTADT

Since 2001 a very slow piece of music (duration: 639 years!) is being performed in Halber- stadt. It is an interpretation of ORGAN2/ASLSP – As SLow aS Possible – of the exper- imental american composer John Cage.

Around the clock, 365 days per year, sounds are resonating in the powerful atmosphere of the pertially ruined medieval Burchardi Church. It has now become a place of great attraction and is steeped in the openness associated with Cage.
